St. John's United Methodist Church



​St. John's is blessed to have a vibrant group of loyal men, who do so much for St. John's.  The group is composed of most of the men who belong to the Church. There is also a wonderful group of ladies that assist the men, which are lovingly referred to as the "Ladies Auxillary."

The activities of the Methodist men include various community outreach programs, including sponsoring activities at the Marc Center and Rockdale ISD.  The group operates various concession stands for Rockdale ISD and often sponsors the Christian Athletes at the school.  The Methodist Men are  responsible for the maintenance of the beautiful St. John's campus.

It's annual fundraiser is a "Chili Supper."  The men cook the chili and all the fixings and serve it at the Church.

METHODIST MEN MEETINGS

The Methodist Men meet on the first Wednesday of every month at the Church, beginning at 6:00 p.m.  The meeting generally last about 1 hour and all men of the Church are invited to attend and participate.
